Marshalls ready for pitter-patter of tiny feet

Zoe Marshall says it's baby-making time for her and sporting star husband Benji, after she underwent treatment for endometriosis.

Since then, Benji has dazzled opponents with his fancy footwork in the NRL. And Zoe, writing on her popular self-titled blog, has revealed Benji may now have to prepare for the pitter-patter of tiny feet.

In a post titled "I have some explaining to do", 31-year-old Zoe wrote about her new business and her recovery from surgery for endometriosis.

"Seeing as all the endo has been removed it's prime time to baby make whether we are ready or not," she wrote.

"Benji is ready and my body is ready, so my mind is catching up. Wow total over share."

Zoe revealed in late January that she was set for surgery.

"It was a very confronting doctor's appointment yesterday both physically and emotionally. I won't get into the gory details but it does mean I may have a longer recovery than first thought."

Then on April 11 she wrote she had recovered from the surgery.

"[The endometriosis has] all been removed and all my organs are back to their original form."

Her next priority was her new business which she wouldn't elaborate on, saying "lips sealed ... It's a biggy though".

And motherhood was clearly high on the priorities list for the Marshalls.

Australian media reports this week suggested Benji could move to the Warriors in 2017.

The St George Illawarra Dragons had offered him a $300,000 contract extension for next season, but this week withdrew the offer as he recovers from a hamstring injury. The Auckland-based Warriors were mooted as a possible destination if the Dragons didn't renew their contract offer.

The Marshalls are no strangers to Auckland, having enjoyed their time in the city during Benji's ill-fated 2014 stint with the Blues Super Rugby team.
