Maisie Williams has adamantly refused to apologise for lying about Game Of Thrones character Jon Snow's fate.
After Jon appeared to die at the end of season five in a brutal stabbing, the actress - who plays Arya Stark - insisted to fans and reporters that he was dead forgood.
But a surprise twist saw Jon Snow return to the show.

After the shock episode aired, Williams posted on Twitter: "Trolled u."
Appearing on Alan Carr: Chatty Man, she said: "Whenever we were asked the question, 'Is Jon Snow coming back?' everyone was like, 'Oh, I can't say,' and I thought that was boring and I thought we should just say 'No'.
"If you say you can't say then people will know that he is, and you just can't say.
"I took it upon myself to lie to absolutely every journalist, every fan and everyone that came up to me. It was really funny because fans would come up to me and be like, 'I know you can't talk about it but is Jon Snow dead?', all giggly and I'd be like, 'Yeah he is dead'.

"They would be shocked and I'd watched them be like, 'I don't really want a picture with you anymore'. It was mean."
But while Jon Snow actor Kit Harington has now apologised for lying to fans for so long, Williams told host Alan Carr that deceiving people was fun.
She said: "Don't apologise! I think that is the fun of it.
"Why would I say, 'Who knows?' when I can totally lie and catch everyone off guard?"
Williams said she was becoming comfortable with wearing more revealing outfits on the red carpet - but wanted to go at her "own pace".

The actress wore an Emilio de la Morena outfit to the season six premiere of Game Of Thrones in Los Angeles - with a long skirt and bandeau top exposing her midriff.
She said: "Actually that was quite a different look for me. I always get told that I dress my age and it was the first time that I was going to show a bit more flesh. I'm 19 now and I was very comfortable with wearing that.
"There are a lot of young actors that can't wait to show everything, which is fine if you are in to that. But I wanted to do that at my own pace."
