The MTV Australia Awards are going international this year, with a performance by chart toppers Kings of Leon to be beamed in from New Zealand.
The United States group, nominated for best video and best rock video, will perform via satellite from Wellington's TSB Arena for the musicchannel's big night.
Indie pop export Sia will sing live at the awards at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre ahead of her national tour.
Adelaide-born Sia has found success in the US recently, after performing on The Late Show with David Letterman and receiving rave reviews on Perez Hilton's website.
She is nominated for the best independent spirit award.
They join event headliners The Killers and red carpet host Audrina Patridge from The Hills at the star-studded bash on March 27.
As a gesture of support for all of those affected by the Victorian bushfires, MTV has put a large proportion of tickets to the awards night on sale for A$50 ($64.52), with all proceeds going to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
