New Zealand singer Kimbra is at number one in the British charts - as the guest vocalist on Gotye's hit Somebody That I Used To Know.
The song by the Australian artist, who headlined Laneway in Auckland recently, has been number one in nine countries, including New Zealand. The success
of the single has prompted the singer to join Gotye on his forthcoming European dates.
She tweeted: "Somebody That I Used to Know is now No. 1 the UK Charts! Wow. Conveniently I am off 2 London on Friday w @gotye for his European dates! Yay!"
Having last played in Auckland at the Big Day Out, she is due to play a show at Ellerslie on Derby Day, March 3, as part of Auckland Cup Week 2012.
