KEY POINTS:
Stick insect Posh Spice has decided to adopt a baby girl, reveals this week's Woman's Day. With her underweight body making conception and pregnancy a challenge, and the uncertainty a fourth biological child would be female, she has decided to follow the lead of many of her friends and adopt.
The expressionless one already has three sons and has apparently long pined for another female presence in her soccer-crazy, male-dominated household.
In preparation for the adoption, Posh has twice visited an exclusive LA baby boutique. Not only did she discuss plans for a new nursery in her LA home, she also bought a designer blanket and stuffed cashmere toy - both in pink.
But hubby David Beckham is concerned she's eating so little she won't be able to cope with her Spice Girls comeback tour. Her diet consists almost entirely of grapefruit and fat-burning tea.
But it seems David has some odd habits too. Posh, who weighs 44kg, blurted out in a radio interview that her hubby is a neat freak.
"David is very, very tidy and I'm not. Even our fridge is colour-coded!
"I'm creative, I have clothes all over the place.
"If he does the cleaning, he vacuums in straight lines in a pinny.
"If anyone walks around after he's done, he gets funny."
But adoption can have its problems, as New Idea reveals.
Angelina Jolie's world has been rocked by devastating claims that her adopted daughter Zahara's birth mother is desperate to have her back.
Zahara's African family are claiming they were tricked into giving her up for adoption to the Hollywood superstar.
"I want my daughter to come home to where she is from," said 24-year-old Mendewad Dawid, who claims to be Zahara's birth mother.
"Her grandmother and I both tried very hard to raise her, and I want her to come home to regain her identity."
Zahara's grandmother claims the man representing the US-based agency that Angelina used to carry out the adoption, took the baby away and told the agency her mother was dead. "What he has done is equal to murder," alleged Mendewad.
The claims are sure to rock Angelina and Brad Pitt, whose plans to adopt a second Ethiopian baby have fallen through.
Angelina is also said to have suffered a miscarriage.
Brad is also concerned about Angelina's skinny frame.
"She doesn't seem to be taking care of herself or eating properly.
"She gets so busy with her movies, the kids and her humanitarian work that she skips meals," said a friend.
Meanwhile Dancing with the Stars judge Craig Revel Horwood has labelled fellow judge Brendan Cole a "sickening womaniser". The comments came after Brendan's steamy ballroom displays with pin-up partner Kelly Brook on the current British version of the TV One series.
"He's an absolute womaniser and an *******; I can't bear him - he's so self-righteous," said Craig.
And finally, Chelsy Davy has had enough of Prince Harry's playboy antics and dumped the ginger-haired bad boy, revealed Woman's Weekly.
Their three-year romance came to a grinding halt after she discovered secret text messages on his phone from a secret admirer.
Chelsy, who moved to England from South Africa to be closer to Harry, said the move had made her "utterly miserable".
"Chelsy was - and still is - the love of his life," said a friend. "He will be gutted to see her looking like the weight of the world is on her shoulders."
