Craig and Adele's partnership on 2012's Skyfall made the action movie the most successful James Bond movie to date after it grossed more than A$1.4 billion ($1.47b) at the box office.
In the 2015 TimeOut interview, Craig also said if he did sign on for another movie it "would only be for the money". Despite the vicious interview, Craig has since backtracked on his comments, saying in numerous interviews he loved playing the British spy.
In October, 2016 at the New Yorker festival, Craig revealed playing Bond has been his best job.
"As far as I'm concerned, I've got the best job in the world. I'll keep doing it as long as I still get a kick out of it," he said.
Producers behind the Bond franchise have also reportedly offered Craig a ludicrous amount of money to stick with the spy movies with the Sun claiming last year he'd been offered A$150 million for two more movies.
Speaking on a British radio station last October, executive producer Callum McDougall said Craig was "absolutely the first choice" of producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
Bond 25, which, as the name suggests will be the 25th movie in the James Bond franchise, is slated for release in October, 2018.
