A worldwide event for Hobbit fans is taking place today where stars of the film and its director Sir Peter Jackson will be answering questions ahead of the release of the second movie in the trilogy.
The event will be held simultaneously in Wellington, Los Angeles, New York and London.
The session is part of the build up to the December release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
In Wellington, fans will gather at the Embassy Theatre at 11am and quiz Sir Peter in person about the movie.
CNN anchorman Anderson Cooper will host the event from New York, where he will be joined by Orlando Bloom, who reprises his role as Legolas, and Richard Armitage, who plays Thorin Oakenshield.
Evangeline Lilly, who has been cast as Elf warrior Tauriel, will be based in Los Angeles.
London will host Lee pace - the film's Elf King Thranduil, Luke Evans who plays Bard the Bowman, and Andy Serkis, who continues in his character Gollum.
Fans will also be shown exclusive footage from the film.
Each cinema in the four locations will be connected by satellite, allowing audiences to participate in a simultaneous Q&A among participants.
Fans unable to make the event will be able to join online with live streaming.
