One of the producers on the album is Just Blaze, who has crafted tracks for everyone from Jay Z to Madonna to Kendrick Lamar to T.I. to Drake. Not only is he legit, his services do not come cheap.
The whole thing - which is also being released on vinyl because of course it is - is available for free on the Run the Jewels site.
(Insert sweeping, santimonious statement about how streaming music has completely changed the game and now you have real musicians releasing cat-rap albums because no one respects true artistry anymore, wah, wah, wah here.)
If nothing else, Meow the Jewels should be responsible for some great new kitty memes, though we'll refrain from commenting on feline puns.
It's only a matter of time before a cat makes it onto the official guest list for a state dinner and the White House chefs are finding ways to remix tuna tartare.
