It's been called the greatest science-fiction movie ever made - and now a Blade Runner sequel is being planned.
But reports that Harrison Ford is involved in the sequel to Ridley Scott's 1982 cult classic have been denied.
Scott has been busy on his Alien prequel Prometheus, but movie websiteTwitch Film reported he was planning to recruit Ford for a Blade Runner sequel as his next project.
Those reports have since been shot down.
"It is absolutely patently false that there have been any discussions about Harrison Ford being in (a sequel to) Blade Runner," producer Andrew Kosove told Deadline.
"To be clear, what we are trying to do with Ridley now is go through the painstaking process of trying to break the back of the story, figure out the direction we're going to take the movie and find a writer to work on it.
"The casting of the movie could not be further from our minds at this moment."
Last August Kosove said the sequel would be a "total reinvention" that would do "everything fresh".
