Fans of Game of Thrones have spoken and King Joffrey has fallen.
Hours before the premiere of the show's fourth season on New Zealand television, a seven meter statue of the boy-king has toppled in Auckland's Aotea Square.
Fans from 123 countries had been tweeting since Thursday to #bringdowntheking, with each tweet tightening the rope around the statue's neck and bringing it closer to falling.
The stunt was continuously live streamed.
