Has Game of Thrones just confirmed Jon Snow is dead?
Game of Thrones finally released its full trailer for the upcoming new season and it hints at the highly-debated fate of Kit Harrington's character, Jon Snow.
The clip first shows a shot of Snow lying in a pool of hisown blood just as he was left at the end of season five. A voiceover then says: "He's gone."
This trailer is the first glimpse fans have gotten of scenes from Thrones' sixth season and the hint about Jon Snow isn't the only exciting thing to be revealed.
Season five of the show finished with some dramatic cliff hangers and the new two-minute long trailer shows what's in store for Daenerys Targaryen who was captured by the Dothraki, Arya Stark who was left blinded and many other Thrones characters.
"I choose violence" says Cersei Lannister, who was forced to make a naked public walk of shame when we last saw her.
There is sure to be a lot more violence in this upcoming season. Fittingly the song playing throughout the trailer is Wicked Game, performed by James Vincent McMorrow.
Game of Thrones is set to air in New Zealand on April 25.
