Flight of the Conchords' Jemaine to join MIB III cast

Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement is said to be in final negotiations to play a baddie in the new Men in Black movie.

Clement will join a cast including Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith - who are reprising their roles as secret agents Agent K and Agent J - and Josh Brolin.

A report on The Hollywood Reporter website said Clement will play a villain named Boris, who is described as being "charmy and creepy at the same time".

Production of the new movie is slated to begin in August, with a release date of May 25, 2012 tipped.
