Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has been asked to star in the up-coming movie adaptation of the novel Fifty Shades Of Grey.
The 18-year-old star was appearing on Jonathan Ross' chat show when he revealed film bosses had asked him to act in the motion picture version of the S&Mnovel.
During the programme, to be screened in the United Kingdom tomorrow night, Justin confessed that he could have played Christian Grey.
He admitted: "They actually want me to be in the movie!"
The part would be far from the innocent image Bieber has portrayed in his pop career so far.
He said: "At the end of the day I'm always going to be their Justin, regardless of who I'm dating.
"I like to make sure my fans are comfortable."
The heartthrob wants to be known for his abilities as a musician and not his good looks.
He added: "I love being young and being in the spotlight but I want to be taken seriously as an artist, be known for my music and not necessarily known for a flick of my hair."
