It's not everyday you see Queen B in the flesh, let alone doing something us peasants would do.
So it's no surprise then that fans collectively lost their minds when Beyonce was snapped shopping at a Target in Los Angeles on Monday.
Photos of Beyonce were shared by a Twitterfan account appeared to show the singer surveying a store's products as her trolley was being pushed behind her, because of course she doesn't have to push her own trolley.
It was a surprise appearance for Beyonce, who last year gave her first interview in years to US Vogue's September issue in a move that reportedly included her having complete editorial authority over what the magazine published about her, according to Variety.
The singer rarely makes red carpet appearances and communicates with her fans in artistic Instagram photos which usually carry no captions.
In 2012, angry parents claimed Beyonce and Jay-Z installed bulletproof glass and bodyguards at the New York hospital suite where the couple's daughter Blue Ivy was born.
A hospital employee told the New York Post Beyonce had "her own security, and hospital security," with windows into the unit where she was staying blacked out.
