Ed Sheeran's being sued again, this time for copying Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On

Another month, another lawsuit for Ed Sheeran who has come under fire again with claims he's ripped off Marvin Gaye's classic hit Let's Get It On.

The heirs of Gaye and Ed Townsend (the songwriters behind the 1973 classic) are alleging that Sheeran's ripped the melody, harmony, and rhythm compositions from the song, TMZ reports.

This is the second lawsuit in as many months for Sheeran, who was recently sued for plagiarising a track written for The X Factor UK singer Matt Cardle.

The songwriters asked for US $20 million, saying Sheeran copied their song Amazing "note for note" for his hit single Photograph - at one point clocking up 39 identical notes.
