More details have emerged about a proposed Flight of the Conchords movie, but TV network HBO says they know nothing about it.
Earlier this week, Conchords member Bret McKenzie told reporters at a screening of the new Muppets movie that he and Jemaine Clement wanted to make a movie based
on their hit TV show, which ran for two seasons on HBO.
"We're gonna try and do a movie. We just need a story," McKenzie said.
But when approached by music rag NME, an HBO spokesman said they knew nothing about it.
"There are no plans for a Flight Of The Conchords movie," they said.
