When Game of Thrones fans last saw Snow, he was lying on the ground bleeding after being stabbed by the men under his command in the Night's Watch. This final image from Season 5 left many to speculate over whether their favourite character was really dead.
Asked about the speculation on radio fellow actor Maisie Williams, who plays Arya said: "All the time people are asking me if Jon Snow is alive and the answer is no! He's dead! I promise."
However, dead on Game of Thrones may not mean that he's really gone. Fans have speculated that Snow does die, but he is brought back to life by the red witch Melisandre. Others believe he comes back as a zombie-like character in the same way his mother Catelyn Stark transformed in the books.
Harrington has been spotted on the set of Game of Thrones over the past few months. In images leaked from the set, he is seen wearing the brown clothing of House Stark. So fans can expect Season 6 to contain an epic Jon Snow transformation plot.
Harrington even told Belgian magazine Humo that the show would be in his life for some time to come.
"I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over," Harrington said.
He's currently 28.
