Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem was less than impressed by questions about newly-single Today show host Karl Stefanovic in a recent interview.
Stefanovic's private life has been the subject of much tabloid speculation since news broke last month of his split with wife Cassandra Thorburn. One of the more bizarrereports, originating from New Idea magazine, suggested the morning TV host had his eye on long time friend Delta Goodrem.

The tabloid mag's "evidence" to support this front-page story was apparently a throwaway comment from Karl during a past segment on Today discussing The Voice, in which he announced "I love Delta."
In an interview with Brisbane media on Friday, the usually accommodating Goodrem made it clear that she had no interest in entertaining questions about Stefanovic's rumoured "infatuation" with her.
The Daily Telegraph reports that, when asked if there was any truth to the rumour, Goodrem replied that she was not going to discuss it.
"Even when the journalist suggested that they personally did not believe the gossip, Goodrem was not swayed to join the conversation," the Daily Telegraph reports.

A member of Goodrem's team later rang the journalist to complain and express the singer's disappointment in the line of questioning, it's alleged.
Goodrem's team also stepped in on an interview with Sydney media last week when questions became too personal.
The singer, who just finished her Wings of the Wild national arena tour, will again share a network with Stefanovic in 2017 when she returns as a coach on The Voice and starts a new role in hit drama House Husbands.
