Chris Pratt is sorry - for something that has never happened.
The 35-year-old posted a hilarious note on Facebook to preemptively apologise for his performance during the upcoming press junkets for Jurassic World.
The comedic actor-turned action star claimed he was "just dumb" and was more than likely to bunglethe whole promotional tour.
"I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming #JurassicWorld press tour," he began.
"I hope you understand it was never my intention to offend anyone and I am truly sorry. I swear. I'm the nicest guy in the world. And I fully regret what I (accidentally will have) said in (the upcoming foreign and domestic) interview(s).
He added: "I am fully aware that the subject matter of my imminent forthcoming mistake, a blunder (possibly to be) dubbed 'JurassicGate' is (most likely) in no way a laughing matter."
Jurassic World is due to hit New Zealand theatres on July 11.
Pratt starred last year as Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, a film that was the highest earning superhero film in 2014 with an international box office haul of $774 million.
