Hollywood's biggest A-list stars have taken to social media, freaking out about Donald Trump's victory.

Katy Perry, Lena Dunham, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and other celebs have expressed their devastation and anxiety over the fact that Trump is going to be their new president.

The news of Trump becoming America's 45th President-elect has hit hard with some of Hillary Clinton's biggest celebrity supporters like Lady Gaga, who staged a protest outside Trump Tower in New York City, where Trump had been watching the results with his family and campaign team.

The singer was photographed crying and holding a sign saying "Love trumps hate" on a garbage truck.

Katy Perry, who spoke at Clinton's election party HQ, sent out an avalanche of tweets, refusing to accept the outcome of the election. One of her tweets stated: "POWER TO THE PEOPLE" and another stated: "WE WILL NEVER BE SILENCED".

POWER TO THE PEOPLE

WE WILL NEVER BE SILENCED. #LOVETRUMPSHATE

She also posted these tweets:

Do not sit still. Do not weep. MOVE. We are not a nation that will let HATE lead us.

— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) November 9, 2016

THE REVOLUTION IS COMING.

— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) November 9, 2016

Madonna and Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling also called for Democrat supporters of the Clinton campaign to "stand together".

Many A-listers including Rihanna, are also reposting a meme of Trump with a quote from an interview he gave People Magazine in 1998.

Other celebrities like Victoria's Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes and actresses Sophia Bush, Diane Kruger and Zoe Kravitz have protested against Trump's victory by posting a black picture on their social media accounts.

In another twist, Trump supporters began trolling those celebs who previously said they would move if Trump made it to the White House.

"Need a ride to the airport? #NoOneWantsYou" one person commented on an Amy Schumer post.

"So when you leaving Miley? Hopefully soon," another said.

Lena Dunham also came under fire.

"So do you need help packing? We want you out of the USA! did you think we cared where you live? Bye bye loser and quit eating," one person said.
