Brooklyn Beckham to publish debut photography book 'What I See'

Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, is to release his first photography collection What I See in March next year.

The 17-year-old photographer announced the book's title and publication date last week in an Instagram post that has already been "liked" more than 140,000 times by his 8.8 million followers.

What I See, a collection of than 300 photos, has been picked up by Penguin Random House Children's, the publisher of modern children's classics by Roald Dahl and Jacqueline Wilson.

"Brooklyn Beckham's images inspire a generation across the globe," said the brand's managing director, Francesca Dow.

"This book will give his fans a broader insight into the world seen through his unique and creative perspective."

Beckham has posted more than 700 pictures on his Instagram feed, including a number of black-and-white self portraits. "I'm hoping to study art and photography in the US, once I have finished my A Levels," he told Miss Vogue last year.

According to Penguin, Beckham's book will "offer his followers a rare glimpse at the world through his eyes".

The young photographer clearly takes after his godfather, Elton John - the pop star's collection of classic photography is currently on show at Tate Modern.
