The book I love most is ... The Eragon series by Christopher Paolini is definitely my favourite. His storytelling is fantastic and the way he brings love, tragedy and fantasy together is simply magnificent.

The book I'm reading right now is ... Sabriel, the first book in Garth Nix's The Old Kingdom Trilogy, a book about a young girl who, with minimal experience, must begin a journey into death itself in search of her father.

The book I'd like to read next is ... Lirael (part two in The Old Kingdom series). Or part four in the Eragon series.

The book that changed me is ... The Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman. I was about 13 and not an avid reader, but our principal made it compulsory that at 3pm everyone at school had to read a book. I grabbed it because it was the one with the coolest cover. I opened up the book expecting to be bored off my face, but three weeks later, I'd finished it and was hungry for more. Since then my life has changed - if I'm not reading a book, things don't feel right.

The book I wish I'd never read is ... I'm a bit of a nerd, so the books I read are usually fantasy sort of stuff, with magic, elves and vampires. Because the storylines and characters are quite diverse there's always something new, so I've never experienced a book that I haven't enjoyed.
