Lorde's second album Melodrama is on its way to topping the Billboard 200 international charts.
Billboard magazine quotes industry forecasters who say the 20-year-old Kiwi songstress' second album may launch at No 1, earning the equivalent of between 80,000 and 90,000 "album units" in the week after itlaunched on June 16.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums each week based on a number of measures, including streaming and traditional album sales.
Lorde - real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor - is no stranger to the Billboard charts. Her breakout song Royals from first album Pure Heroine topped the Billboard 100 for nine straight weeks in 2013, with the album reaching number 3 on the Billboard 200 list.
