Beyonce shares first photos of twins

Beyonce has dropped the first image of her newborn twins and has sent the internet into a frenzy.

She revealed the photo first to her 104 million Instagram followers, captioning the photo "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today."

The photo is similar in style to her original pregnancy announcement, featuring the same floral arch in the background.

In the new photo, she is seen holding her twins while wearing a blue veil and blue bikini bottoms while covered in a floral floor length shawl.

TMZ reported that trademark applications have been filed for the twins' names by BGK Trademark Holdings, the same company that owns the trademarks to Beyonce and Jay-Z's names.

The superstar shared key moments of her pregnancy online with her followers, including her 'Carter Push Party' which she held with her closest friends and family.

The baby shower was attended by her former Destiny's Child band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, tennis player Serena Williams, her mum Tina Knowles, La La Anthony and Vanessa Bayer.

She posted a series of photos, including one where she had a henna tattoo on her belly while she wore a string bikini and sarong.
