Casting calls for women vying for the heart of New Zealand's second bachelor - a man whose identity is a closely guarded secret - are now open.
Women aged 21 to 35 who are "genuinely looking for love" have been invited to try out for the second season of TV3'sreality dating show, which will air in the first half of next year, MediaWorks said today.
Season one bachelor Art Green had some advice for people thinking about giving the unusual method of finding a partner a go.
"Just relax and be a confident version of yourself. Think carefully, it is a big decision and quite possibly life changing - there is a very real possibility that you will meet someone special," he said.
Green and his partner Matilda Rice, who he gave the final rose to at the end of last season, are reportedly happily together.
The show holds weekly rose ceremonies, at which the Bachelor presents a single red rose to each of the bachelorettes that he would like to get to know better.
Any woman left without a rose packs her bags and leaves The Bachelor New Zealand mansion.
