Save Rapper A$AP Rocky was allegedly attacked by a group of men in an elevator after performing in Auckland on Wednesday.
TMZ reported the incident broke out about 3am, as A$AP was getting into an elevator at the Pullman Hotel with a group of women.
The website reported three men tried
to jump in, but were deterred by the international artist who said there was no room.
It's understood the trio turned on him landing blows to the head and face as he tried to protect his female companions.
During the assault witnesses heard the offenders crying "F**k A$AP!". Hotel security intervened until police arrived and arrested one suspect.
