A woman who has allegedly been 'stalking' actor Sean Penn has been arrested at his home

Police have arrested a 51-year-old woman for allegedly stalking actor Sean Penn.

According to TMZ, the woman was detained by police at Penn's Malibu home last week after she reportedly tried to contact the Oscar winner at his house twice in two days.

The actor was allegedly at home the first time and contacted police, before an unknown person contacted authorities the second time. The woman was then arrested for felony stalking.

She was released the next day on $200,000 bail, according to TMZ.

Penn has reportedly told police the woman has attempted to contact him at least 50 times by phone or email in the past 12 months, as she allegedly believes she is in a "romantic relationship" with the star.

Penn has most recently been linked to Greta Scacchi and Vincent D'Onofrio's 24-year-old daughter, Grace.

Over the weekend Penn was spotted in Miami attending a benefit for ex-wife Madonna's charity Raising Malawi.

The superstar told Penn she'd remarry him if he forked out $200,000 for charity. (He stumped up the cash, but no word on any impending nuptials.)

Madonna did announce to her former beau that, "I'm still in love with you!"

Meanwhile, Penn will next be seen in The Professor and the Madman, which has been shooting in Dublin in recent weeks and which also stars Mel Gibson.
