A long lost Game of Thrones character is about to return

Maisie Williams kept Jon Snow's fate a secret for months, but she finally slipped up about another plot spoiler, revealing the return of a long lost Game of Thrones character.

During an interview with BBC's Radio 1, a fan called and asked Williams if we would be hearing from Rickon Stark again anytime this season.

Williams responded: "yes, we will indeed".

Then immediately after, Williams realised what she'd done and said: "Oh no, I'm literally going to get off the air and someone's going to email me".

Bad luck for Williams, but good luck for us.

If you need a refresher, Rickon is the youngest Stark child who was whisked off by wildling Osha (Natalia Tena) to be kept safe with House Umber after he and Bran broke out of Winterfell.

Rickon is rumoured to be appearing in the next episode, Oathbreaker, the trailer for which shows two representatives from House Umber bringing Ramsay Bolton a "gift" - possibly Rickon.
