Sticky ginger ribs

Ingredients

1Red chilli, chopped
4 cmFresh ginger, thinly sliced
½ cupOyster sauce
½ tspChinese five spice
2 cupsWater
2Pork ribs, 1.25kg American-style baby back ribs (Main)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200C. Place the chilli, ginger, oyster sauce, five-spice and water in a baking dish and stir until well combined.
  2. Place the ribs in the mixture, cover with aluminium foil and cook for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil, turn the ribs and cook for a further 30 minutes or until caramelised and tender.

Tip:Serve these ribs with a homemade coleslaw for a more substantial meal.
