These mini crumbles are quick to prepare and can be made in advance ready to pop in the oven after dinner.
Ingredients
| 6 | Pears, peeled, cored and sliced (Main) |
| ¼ cup | Maple syrup (Main) |
| 1 cup | Rolled oats |
| ⅓ cup | Plain flour |
| ¼ cup | Brown sugar |
| 75 g | Butter, chilled and chopped |
| ½ cup | Walnuts, chopped (Main) |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180C. Place the pears and maple syrup in a saucepan and cook, covered, over a gentle heat for 5 minutes until pears are tender.
- Place pears into six individual 1-cup capacity ramekins and sit ramekins in a roasting dish.
- Place oats, flour and sugar in a bowl. Rub butter into flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix through chopped walnuts.
- Sprinkle crumbs on pears. Bake 15 to 20 mins until golden.
