Renault recruits new staff

French carmaker Renault plans to recruit 10,000 new staff next year to help it expand abroad and battle tough competition nearer home, the company says.

Fifty per cent of the new jobs will go to blue-collar workers and 50 per cent to technicians, engineers and managers.
