Futures trading

Trading on the New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange yesterday involved 4106 futures contracts traded with a face value of $4.106 billion.

The March 06 90-day bank bill contract closed down 1 point at 92.43 (7.57 per cent) and the June 06 contract closed down 2 points at 92.57 (7.43 per cent).

The March 06 three-year Government stock futures contract closed down 1 point at 94.19 (5.81 per cent) and the March 06 10-year Government stock futures closed down 1 point at 94.29 (5.71 per cent).
