Dominion Finance in trading halt

Shares in Dominion Finance Holdings have been placed in a trading halt pending an announcement expected to be made this afternoon.

At its annual general meeting in August, Dominion Finance indicated it might look to raise money to fund a growth strategy.

The company did not give details of its growth plan but told the AGM any option would probably require more money from shareholders or new investors in order to maintain Dominion's equity to asset ratio.

Shares in Dominion Finance last traded at $1.06.
