Nufarm has agreed to sell its Melbourne-based Florigene biotechnology subsidiary to Japanese firm Suntory.
Florigene is engaged in the development and commercialisation of genetically engineered plants. Nufarm managing director Doug Rathbone said Nufarm was now focused on crop protection.
