A former Kapiti Coast mortgage broker has pleaded guilty to nearly 30 fraud charges involving hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Kerry Buddle had originally pleaded not guilty to the 27 charges, but changed her plea when she appeared in Wellington District Court yesterday ahead of her trial, which was due to start next week.
Her lawyer Marty Robinson said today there were about 10 victims who lost in total between $600,000 and $800,000 due to her offending.
She was remanded on bail to allow restorative justice to occur, he said.
Buddle will be sentenced in July.
