Goodman Fielder reducing costs in Australia

Food giant Goodman Fielder is to centralise food manufacturing in Victoria and New South Wales in a bid to reduce overhead costs.

Chief executive David Hearn said cereals and snacks manufacturing would be centralised alongside cake and soup mixing in Wahgunyah in northern Victoria.

Commercial mixing for Goodman Fielder's industrial and major retail customers will be centralised at its Kingsgrove site in south-west Sydney.
