The Farmers retail chain will stock jewellery under the Prouds brand within three months.
The jewellery will be sold from "kiosks" within Farmers stores.
Prouds, which is an Australian brand, is owned by Pascoes of New Zealand.
The co-owner and managing director of Pascoes, David Norman, said the introduction of Prouds into New Zealand was to avoid the cannabilisation of Pascoes stores.
The Prouds brand will stock different products to Pascoes, although its price range will be similar.
While the kiosks will be run by Pascoes, consumers will be able to buy on credit with the Farmers card.
Norman said the availability of finance through the Farmers card was a big asset for the business. "Most people feel very comfortable using a Farmers card in a Farmers store."
He expected each store to turn over about $1 million in sales a year.
The brand will initially be stocked in 10 stores and will be rolled out to another 20 in the new year.
