"Plane has not passed the test...Waiting for news...0800 number not answering now....noone advising...really bad," Lee wrote.
A later updated posted 2 hours ago said "the police have arrived to monitor the situation".
According to Lee, the passengers were told to return to Auckland Airport today for their flight which would depart at 11am.
"China Southern Airlines...this is not acceptable!!!! Flight cancelled yesterday told we will fly today...we all came in early again. The departure time has now passed and noone is informing us what is happening," he said.
Auckland Airport's departure information shows flight CZ336D, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, was scheduled to leave at 11am but has been delayed to 7pm.
Auckland Airport would not comment on the delay, saying it was a matter for the airline.
Yesterday Lee said the plane had been delayed due to engineering issues. He said they were made to wait for over four hours before being told to come back today.
China Southern said this afternoon it could not comment on the delays.
A Dreamliner 787 and a Boeing 777 were hit with technical faults yesterday and the problems cascaded. A flight did get away from Auckland to Guangzhou mid-morning.
Engineers are working to fix the faults.
Its now 4.5 hours delay. And its getting ridiculous
