Recalls of five different food products today will affect fans of fancy cheese and chicken.
Raw sheep's milk cheese Perail de Brebis has been recalled by company Le Marche Francais, because of a risk of salmonella and listeria.
The recall affects customers in Wellington and the South Island and there have been no reports of illness.
The recalled cheese has a batch number 203, with a best before date of August 31. It is sold in a 150g individually wrapped package.
The cheese has been sold in Fresh Choice Merivale in Christchurch, Fresh Choice Nelson, Fresh Choice Roslyn in Dunedin, Moore Wilson in Wellington and the delicatessen market at Le Marche Francais in Wellington.
And WeightWatchers and Kaweka Foods Co. brand chicken meals have also been recalled due to a choking risk presented by possible chicken bone fragments in four products with a best before date of between September 26, 2016 to February 14, 2017.
These are Kaweka Food Co. butter chicken with rice 350g, Kaweka Food Co. Thai chicken with rice 350g, Kaweka Food Co. apricot chicken with couscous 250g and Weight Watchers Thai green chicken curry 350g.
These products are sold in major supermarkets and food retail outlets throughout New Zealand.
All affected products can be returned to the retailer for a full refund.
The recalls do not affect any other products by WeightWatchers, Kaweka Foods Co. or Le Marche Francais.
