Automotive enthusiasts from far and wide will motor over to the North Shore this Sunday for the Second Annual Bayswater Auto Show.
The event, which attracted 2000 people in 2010, is expected to draw numbers well in excess of last years figures with more than 180 cars ranging from vintage and
exotic to kit car and hotrod set to be on display.
Supercheap Auto New Zealand Merchandise Manager Angus McDonald says the event has quickly become a North Shore community favourite, with motorcycles, big-rigs and military vehicles also making an appearance.
"The 2010 Bayswater Auto Show was a huge success and the response from all the exhibitors has been extremely positive, with all at this stage set to be here again in 2011," Mr McDonald says.
"We are expecting to see a great turnout from car and motorcycle clubs as well as the local community, both those who enjoyed the event last year and those who didn't get to make it.
"Some of the sorts of vehicles people can look forward to seeing include Ferraris, Stags, Jaguars, AC Cobras and Harley Davidsons to name but a few," Mr McDonald says.
Mr McDonald says Supercheap Auto will be sponsoring the Best Engine Bay award, one of the main awards on the day.
"The Bayswater Auto Show is most definitely a family-friendly event and will cater for all ages, and there will even be automotive themed children's entertainment, food and beverages on offer," Mr McDonald says.
