The longer St Heliers has to wait for a boat ramp the better.
More motorcraft will only increase the danger to sea swimmers who have very few places to swim safe from the hazards of speeding craft which disregard 5 knots/hour zones.
The currently demarcated swimming area as outlined by the white buoys in St Heliers Bay is pathetically small - and even this area is not infrequently encroached upon by watercraft.
I vote for no boat ramp ever - can't we have one bay without motorised watercraft?

No boat ramp at St Helier please
