Kiwi icon George Henare is starring in the Newmarket Stage Company's production of the award-winning play Tuesdays with Morrie.
The play, based on the bestselling book that sold 6 million copies, chronicles a rekindled relationship between a sports journalist and his former college professor.
Henare previously starred in the NSC's debut production 'Educating Rita' and says he is thrilled to be doing another show with the company.
"I really enjoyed working with NSC on Educating Rita so I'm back for another dose."
Henare will be joined on stage by rising actor, musician and director Jason Te Mete.
