A motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a crash on the Pakuranga Highway in Auckland has died at the scene.
The crash, between a car and a motorcycle, occurred outside McDonald's, between Prince Regent Dr and Mountain Rd, at 12.55pm.
Police initially said the motorcyclist had suffered serious injuries. The motorcyclist has since died at the scene, police said.
The occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.
The crash caused traffic disruption in both directions on the Pakuranga Highway.
