Avondale College, Auckland students have been reprimanded over a hoax letter outlining the need for full body inspection before they sit their end of year exams.
Principal Brent Lewis said the letter, which had been distributed to Year 13 students at the college, was obviously a prank.
The letter bearing
the college masthead and its phone numbers claimed that senior students would have to undergo full body check - including their bare bottoms.
Mr Lewis believed 10 copies had been made and were circulated around Year 13 classes.
"We are currently dealing with the matter and are also talking to the parents of those responsible."
