A fantastic two-day fashion event at Britomart starts today as part of Auckland's Fashion in the Big Little City.
Free fashion shows from New Zealand's best designers
On Friday 1 March and Saturday 2 March, Britomart and Westpac will present Fashion Sessions, six free fashion catwalk shows featuring Autumn/Winter
2013 collections from Britomart's favourite designers.
All six catwalk shows will take place on a specially built catwalk at Britomart's Atrium on Takutai, with in-store offers precinct wide throughout 'Fashion in the Big Little City'.
On Friday 1 March, three solo shows will showcase Autumn/Winter 2013 collections from The Pavilions' Trelise Cooper, Kathryn Wilson and Juliette Hogan.
The On the Street Runway Show on Saturday 2 March will feature key streetwear looks from Britomart boutiques Co-Lab, Nike Britomart, Timberland, Onitsuka Tiger, Storeroom, Laundromat Boutique and Seletti Boutique.
Ted Baker, RJB Design and Taylor Boutique will show together as part of the On the Town Runway Show on Saturday 2 March.
Finally, The Tyler Street Runway Show will close Britomart Fashion Sessions with looks from cult Kiwi labels Kate Sylvester, Zambesi and WORLD, with footwear from Lineage.
Makeup will be by Britomart locals M.A.C Cosmetics and hair will be coiffed by Ryder Salon, while George FM's finest will keep fashion-buffs entertained between shows.
Special VIP tickets to catwalk events
Special ticketed entry is available to four shows - Trelise Cooper, Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan and the Tyler Street Runway Show (Kate Sylvester, Zambesi and WORLD with Lineage).
Tickets come replete with VIP perks like complimentary Britomart Valet Parking and invites to exclusive pre-show soirées at Britomart's historic Nathan Club, where you'll get the chance to mingle with the designers themselves.

Costing from $45 to $65, tickets to Britomart Fashion Sessions are limited and are available from iTicket from Monday 4 February.
Freebie standing entry is also available to all shows on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure you arrive fashionably early to secure a great view!
$10 parking special for Britomart Fashion Sessions
If you're coming down for Britomart Fashion Sessions - or any events as part of 'Fashion in the Big Little City' - the easiest place to park is Britomart Car Park.
Britomart Car Park is located on the corner of Quay Street and Britomart Place, immediately opposite the east entrance to Atrium on Takutai and just a short walk from Queens Wharf.
Britomart Car Park is offering a $10 parking special from Friday 1 March to Saturday 2 March. A flat rate of $10 will apply on Friday after 6pm and all day on Saturday. There will also be complimentary Britomart Valet Parking for all iTicket holders.
