Brant soon realises there is a pattern to the deaths and all the officers from his police district have links to the same man - a man Brant knows all too well.
He now finds himself in a cat-and-mouse game with the serial killer.
With the help of his station commander, Porter Nash (Paddy Considine), he must get inside the killer's head and predict his next move.
If he can't stop him soon enough then another police officer is likely to die at the hands of the so-called Blitz.
Blitz is a hard and brutal movie with a real British inner-city feel to it.
Although Brant plays it hard and fast, you have to develop a kind of affection for the morals that ultimately guide his every action.
