Mike Boon, part time teacher and part time comic, is teaming up with the best local and international comedy talent to bring kids the ultimate afternoon fun.
The scenario is: "Mr Boon has one last chance to get his own TV show. Join him for an hour of madcap fun set in a TV studio as he auditions for the meanest TV producer in the world!"
Mr Boon will be joined on stage by a selection of multi talented performers and comics for an afternoon of stand up, stories, sketches and pie-in-the-face silliness aimed at kid's aged 5 to 10.
After years as a stand up comedian, Mike Boon has spent the past three years as a primary school teacher in Auckland. In 2010, he has left the noble teaching profession for stand up comedy again.
However, his love of kids and teaching has led him to combine the two and create this kids show for the Kids Season in the NZ International Comedy festival.
Because why should the adults have all the fun during the Comedy Festival?
