The spotlight's gone on another allegiance tug of war in international rugby league.
Canberra back-rower Josh Papalii's requested more time to make a decision over his future, with Queensland coach Mal Meninga wanting to sign him.
He's already been named in a Kiwis train on squad for October's test against the Kangaroos.
Coach Stephen Kearney says it's frustrating to have another situation.
"As soon as the NRL make a decision on the process which I know they're working through now, I think it will be obviously the best for everyone concerned.''
Kearney says he'll kick on with preparations regardless.
"They'll plan ahead as if Josh will be there and I'm sure it'll get resolved within the next week or so.''
Bulldogs prop Sam Kasiano, who's another with a question mark over his name, is expected to resolve his future if he's selected for the Kiwis after the Bulldogs are knocked out of the NRL finals.
The players already named in the training squads have recently gathered on both sides of the Tasman for sessions leading up to the October 13 encounter.
