Kiwi Brendon Hartley has enjoyed another successful day in Formula 1 winter testing.

The Toro Rosso driver completed 119 laps in Barcelona – second only to the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo – while he posted the fifth fastest time of the day.

It didn't come without hiccup though. Hartley had a spin during the day and was forced to stop at the exit of pit lane.

Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel were the only drivers to set faster times than the New Zealander.

The testing continues for two more days.
