A month after sparking controversy with his World Cup tour behaviour, pictures have emerged in British media of Mike Tindall enjoying a belated honeymoon with wife Zara Phillips.
The Queen's eldest granddaughter, 30, and Tindall, 32, were this week seen holidaying in sunny Cyprus.
Having returned from New Zealand followingEngland's World Cup exit, the hulking Tindall and his royal bride are pictured frolicking poolside, he reading a book and she at times topless - but facedown - soaking up some sun, by British tabloid The Mail.
The couple married in late July but his rugby commitments and her equestrian competitions meant honeymoon plans had to be delayed.
In the meantime, Tindall was captured on CCTV in a Queenstown nightspot embracing ex-girlfriend Jessica Palmer during down time with teammates.
The grainy footage of the pair made international headlines and served as the starting point for a controversial English tournament.
Tindall and Palmer, who was among the guests at the Edinburgh royal wedding, said the situation was blown out of proportion.
Tindall and Phillips certainly showed no signs of ongoing stress from the New Zealand drama as they swam, kissed and hugged, and chatted with other resort guests, many of whom were unaware of their identity.
Court proceedings are continuing against Queenstown nightclub bouncer Jonathan Dixon, who released the footage of Tindall with Palmer.
He is charged with accessing a computer system for dishonest purposes.
